Yes, you do look like a Slut

In Myspace Ruins Yourlife, I tried giving you the lowdown with text about how people are posting incriminating things about themselves on the internet and throwing abandon to the wind. Sometimes 95 pictures is worth more than 95k words. ALL of these pictures are from PUBLIC profiles on Myspace.com (i.e. they posted these themselves).

Rated NQSFW (not quite suitable for work)!!!!

And yes…you do look like a slut.

See…I told you.

P.S. Whitney…Put down the pipe, put that man down, and please come home.
XOXOXO!

Ah, the youth of America today. I can't wait to see what happens in twenty years. Our senate will be emo, and congress will be former frat boys while the cabinet are full of slutty drunk women.

    Ah, I love society. ^_^

step off your high horse and realize that this stuff has been going on for a long time
    myspace or no
publishing pictures like that will only make more kids do crazier stuff
if this video surprizes you and you're a parent, then you do not know your kids and you should be spending more time with them
  • Hah
I think everyone's biggest problem with myspace is that, with photo evidence of these things, parents can't pretend their kid isn't doing any of this like they could before.

Best, g*d d*mn, video, ever. I like it 'cause it really shows how extremely stupid some white kids look, teehee. EMOS ARE THE FUTURE!
  • eleveneleven
"*obviously* it's myspace creating a sad and disillusioned younger generation. it couldnt have been the f**ked up parenting...blame everything but yourselves!

I cant help but notice how several of the reply posts go and talk about what they see in these pictures and how that equates to what the future of America will be... COME ON people... Like you didnt drink and do drugs in college? The 60's, 70's & 80's were quite possibly the biggest years in drug use this country has ever seen.

Granted, its one thing to do them and take pictures of them and put them on the web where everyone can see but was that really because you were "smart enough" to know not to do that or because something as open and yet seemingly private as personal myspace pages didnt exist...

... sorry i have no desire to see gaybirds kissing, it's a rather revolting and backward to me

Ok...First thing, for the racist people leaving comments, if you did not notice there were kids from many races on the video. For the gay and lesbian stuff....Shut up! Let people live their lives. It is 2006. And for the comment of the kids in the video being hurt, you couldn't be more wrong. If you didn't notice, almost every person had a smile on their face and was enjoying themselves.
By the way, if you don't like gay people you ARE homophobic. Homophobic means: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals.....So by saying you can dislike gays, but not be homophobic, you my friend are incorrect. I have a myspace myself, and I post picture of my friends and I having a good time. Just because some poeple like to go out and have a good time rather than sitting at home on the internet making fun of myspace, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it. And why would you seriously take the time to search myspace and look for this....It is as simple as "You don't like it, don't look." How is anything on that site effecting you directly?
For the parents, if you have a problem with your kids having a myspace account, it will not do any good. Just because they won't be posting the pictures on the internet for everyone to see does not mean they won't still be doing it. It is a very good way to keep in touch with friends that you would not get to otherwise. Thank you. I have said my peace, and now I am going to bed.
    P.S.
Doesn't my girlfriend look amazingly hott in the video?

Great video huh. The only thing you did with your little video was give everyone of those teens exactaly what they wanted attention. They have thier crude, outrageous little pics on myspace for a reason to attract attention. Wow, and you helped them accomplish their goal. Your ninety five pic little slide show did just that. As long as they get comments and videos posted, or put together about the things that they are doing they will keep doing it, hell as long as alcohol gets you drunk they will keep doing it. Teenagers are going to do what teenagers do test the boundaries and see how much they can get away with. But people blasting it all over the internet certainly isnt helping teens think its unacceptable or immoral behavior. The truth is the idea of crime and punishment is laughable for these teenagers but look any where else on the web or even on television. What are we trying to teach childern with violence, sex, oh yeah dont forget the occasoinal naked dwarf tossing. That is definately bound to teach them something. But lets not forget its not all their fault now is it, our great president George W. Bush is too busy throwing money to Iraq and Afganistan. Oh yeah and helping rebuild hurricane devistated areas to worry about the countless number of teens getting their hands on alcohol and drugs everysingle day in america. Isnt he suppose to be planning for americas future. Well mabye hes just trying to pasify us all for the moment just screw the next centry, right. But dont get me wrong, i understand perfectly whats going on, how many hits a day does your web site get just from that one video? I would guess a pretty damn good bit. Well it will be okay gotta make a living somehow huh. Why not do it how so many people in america do with our morbid facinations, sell other peoples stupidity. I just think that it is sad that a person you would never lay eyes on makes it on the web because they got plastered by a bus on their way to work and who sees it first, teenagers on these sick little websites.

This in response to tony, I did drugs when i was in college too i did only for six months. But i never went around kissing two three girls at the same time even though my greatest shag is threesome involving two girls. I was always searching for love still. The chicks during my college used to smoke to they tried it. And it was me(and many guys like me) who made them stop convinceing them that girls be scared of breast cancer man. That was the time when smoking was becoming cool. But it was still the bad guys and the sluts who smoked. We only tried for the heck of it and believe me it was out there and pretty less awareness.
Now there is more awareness, we have seen people die of smoking and these kids have more access. There is not point is stopping myspace.com. We have to stop mtv and other related media all the cosmetic/clothings/lingerie/fast food and alcholot cigarette companies from making this.
We have to stop this porn industry, i shag of to porn i used to when i was a kid but i still remember the plots then there were none. We like watching erotica and then there was these new breed of movies that were about love and showed real good body language and great sex moves.
Now they are paying amature pornstars to behave like a teenager of the street who is just ready to blow anybody. They call all the amature porn stars throw a party and also make it a pre cursor to the final selection and you will see them go wild on guys/male strippers. This is all shown that it really happens. When both girl/guys see it they get affected they think man this is what is happening "in high profile parites" They stage the parties so well and make it look real. i could go on and on but that is the real problem here.
I never behaved that way never ever when i was a kid i would get high and jump of a 30 foot bridge and if there was the internet i would have definetly put those pictures up.
Girls to be cool or accepted as cool had to be different even then and they would be smart listen to great music and be strong i know we could just dig chicks who could do pushups and who were in martial arts and we even respected them.
Nowadays there is no intangible talent the media and the mtv(britney spears and etc.) have convince todays female generations that your greatest asset is your sexuality and you have to flaunt it. Beyond that you have nuting. The media supports that becuase only if you are superficial then you sucked into this materialistic world and have materilistice desires to enhance beauty you will have to depend on cosmetics make up wonder bras ass pad and implants.. Sometimes i feel the corporates in their individuals campains are giving a friendly push to other corporate sectors too. or maybe they are in this together because the marketing agencies are the same so they see that promoting certains "cool" things will make it easier to promote a variety of products among these teenagers.
I never see this kids becoming mothers and fathers never especially mothers.

The choice to mix 2 kinds of images in this video is a little disturbing. First there are images of obviously antisocial behaviors - underage drinking, people throwing up, people with guns, naked (or near naked) pics on a public website - things that almost everyone can agree are not the best. Second, there are images of gay and lesbian youth just kissing or standing together - and what could possibly be wrong with that?

Watched the video. A few words come to mind. duh, yeah and..., i should be surprised, shocked? "Kids" have been doing this kind of stuff since there have been kids and the only difference I see is the certain "substances" being used which can kill you along with stds which can also kill you. But before there was penicillin stds could kill you also. Lots of famous and not so famous people died from syphliss and other diseases before there were cures. Not that I'm not concerned and would certainly impress upon anyone at any age to use protection but my point is that while I'd say it's more riskier out there today and yes, kids are less responsible, this form of behavior is far from new. Each generation seems to shock the previous and that's b/c certain behavior today is percieved to be ok, why, b/c parents and society in general does not use the means at thier disposal to get the message out there regarding what is right and that one needs to take responsiblility for ones behaviour and actions. And while it's definite the media and big business needs to take more responsibility, it always comes down to personal choice, something which we all have, some people are just more responsible and sensible then others. Sometimes you CAN'T go home again.

I thought this was hilarious. Besides the fact that there are pictures of people of the same sex kissing. Some of them looked like they were actually dating each other and were happy. The other ones with have naked girls and lots of tounge are just fine being on here. Kids are ridiculous nowadays. I don't think it's because of emo. That's stupid. Emo music is not bad for you. It's slow and it's pretty, it doesn't make you want to drink and do drugs. Most emo bands are straight edge. I think kids need to stop wasting so much money on beer and drugs and invest in who they are and what they want in life + have their fun too.

Maybe people would give a $h!t about their country if it wasn't run by a f*ing POS that all the dumb redneck adults voted for. F* it.

It's too bad that there are so many "wrong" definitions of homophobia out there. Even Merriam-Webster has given in to "the times".
The correct and actual definition of Homophobia is this:
    Homo - meaning same
    Phobia - meaning fear
Fear of the same. In the sexual connotation it would be "The fear of members of your gender who are sexually attracted to your gender."

Please stop trying to use a word in the wrong context.

BTW, Homosexuality is a sin. If you're living a life of sin, you're going to Hell. "Tolerance" toward sin is a bad idea too. Salvation though Jesus Christ is the only way out.
Sorry to bring the sermon, but it's true.

My opinion of this? I am a mom..and I have a myspace..to keep an eye of what my kid is doing. If more parents took the time to control the things they put in there and say....it wouldn't be such a big problem.

There is always going to be MYSPACE. It's a growing thing and it is not going away anytime soon. So you take away the kid's computer...they go to their friends or the libary to log in. How can you control that? The answer: Play the game.

These kids do these things anyway without myspace..It is just thery're way of showing their friends how cool..tough..scary..stupid they are. It's a sort of acceptance for them.
So without myspace, some kids would never be able to express themselves.

Bottom line is ..that if you can't fight it...which you can't...then join it..and play the game. At least you'll have a little bit more control over your kid. In my case ....I do..and communication is the key here.
